Dr. Leanna Carpenter is the newest addition to Raytown Gregory Animal Health Center, joining our team after receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 2007.  Her special interests include small animal internal medicine and surgery.

Dr. Carpenter grew up in Kansas City and attended Center High School where she was the 1999 scholar athlete of the year.  She completed her undergraduate studies in May of 2003, graduating cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Animal Sciences.

In her spare time Dr. Carpenter enjoys playing tennis and soccer and spending time at home with her canine companion Skyler and her feline friend Oscar.
