Since joining Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center in 2017, Dr. Godwin has been dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized veterinary care. A Grandview, MO native, he earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Biology with minors in music and global studies from Drury University, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Inspired by his lifelong love of animals and curiosity for science, Dr. Godwin focuses on strengthening the human-animal bond through preventive medicine and individualized treatment. His professional interests include dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and wellness care.
At home, Dr. Godwin and his wife, Brianna, share life with their three children—Lorelai, Lyric, and Mara—a calico cat named Sunny, and a spirited rescue dog named Dahlia. In his free time, he enjoys reading, attending live music and theater, experiencing museums, and exploring the outdoors.
