Dr. Lowrey grew up on Independence, MO, attending Blue Springs High School where she played soccer. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Missouri, graduating in 2016 with a degree in Animal Sciences. Dr. Lowrey graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.
Dr. Lowrey has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She loves experiencing the human-animal bond and finds the opportunity to treat and heal animals tremendously rewarding.
Dr. Lowrey’s areas of professional interest include soft tissue surgery, cardiology, theriogenology and pocket pets.
Dr. Lowrey has a Pit Bull/Lab mix rescue named Sam who she enjoys playing frisbee with. Sam was a therapy dog for hospitalized human patients while Dr. Lowrey was at the University of Missouri. In her free time, Dr. Lowrey enjoys playing soccer, reading and exercising.
