Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center is proud to offer advanced ultrasound and echocardiography services to help provide clearer answers about your pet’s health.

These non-invasive diagnostic tools allow our team to capture detailed, high-resolution images of your pet’s internal organs and heart. Ultrasounds can be used to evaluate the abdomen and other soft tissue structures, while echocardiograms focus specifically on the heart’s structure, movement, valves, chambers, and overall function.

Our ultrasound and echocardiography services are led by Sheryl Pindar-Terrell, RVT. Sheryl has been a registered veterinary technician since 2006 and brings more than 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry. In 2023, she began specializing in veterinary ultrasonography, completing advanced training in both abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography.

Her focus is on capturing high-quality diagnostic images that can be evaluated in collaboration with board-certified cardiologists and internists. This helps support precise evaluations and allows your veterinarian to better understand your pet’s condition and next steps for care.

Your pet may benefit from an ultrasound or echocardiogram if they are experiencing symptoms such as:

• Changes in appetite or weight
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Abdominal discomfort or swelling
• Abnormal bloodwork
• Heart murmur
• Coughing or difficulty breathing
